A native of Peoria County, Illinois, Selena Burns earned her Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Illinois Central College in 2011. She also received her Associate of Arts and Science degree from Illinois Central College in 2004.

Before relocating to Tennessee in 2016, Selena spent more than five years serving as an Office Manager for a surveying company and more than five years working as a Paralegal. Her diverse professional background provides valuable insight and experience that supports her work with clients and the Guffey Law team.

Selena joined Guffey Law as a Real Estate Assistant in 2022. In her role, she supports the firm's real estate practice by assisting with transaction preparation, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure each closing moves forward efficiently and accurately.

In addition to her role at Guffey Law, Selena is a wife and mother of two precious children.
